Team Teagan Update | 3-21
âThe Eagle has Landed!â⦠She's home, she's active and sheâs sooo happy. You can tell she is glad to be back in her own home. Holly who I am proud to say did not flip a lid when she saw the house, especially the kitchen island which resembled the great wall of china⦠which had just become a collection of piles⦠piles of mail, piles of those sales flyers, greeting cards, and ohhh so much paperwork from the boys teachers⦠Why do they send home so much paperwork anyway? And am I the only parent who feels completely stupid when trying to figure out their âNEW MATHâ homework. What was wrong with the way WE did it???
Teagan had a good day, she does slow down some towards the end of the day, but is definitely feeling better⦠and we are very thankful for that⦠She is scheduled to go to âClinicâ tomorrow for blood tests, while our next session for her Chemo, is tentatively scheduled for March 30th. Sheâll be in the hospital for what we hope will be a week this timeâ¦
Tonight was the night for the âBenefit Dinnerâ at the Grill Restaurant. I was amazed by how many people came out for this event, the food was great, the people, many of whom we had never met, seemed to enjoy the evening very much. Weâd like to thank my parents and the staff at the Grill at the Ramada, who did a great job making everyone feel welcome. Holly and I are overwhelmed by the kindness and support weâve received from friends, family and strangers alike⦠Weâre not even sure how to thank everyone⦠maybe just a big THANK YOU for nowâ¦
Thank you all for all your support and well wishesâ¦
More to comeâ¦
