Emma Spaeth
Meet Emma, one of our honored heroes for 2010.

In December of 2009, our 4-year-old Emma was sufferung from joint pain and swelling. It was so intense that she was unable to walk at times. At first, doctors diagnosed Emma with Juvenile Psoriatic Arthritis.
While completing the necessary testing for diagnosis and treatment of arthritis, doctors found Emma to indeed have Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). On March 19th, 2010, Emma began her first chemotherapy treatments. She has endured multiple spinal taps, bone marrow biopsies, and side effects due to treatment, but, through it all, she has a positive attitude. On April 19th, 2010, our Princess Emma achieved remission. She will continue to face demanding chemotherapy for the next 2 years.
Emma has hopes of Kindergarten playdates, meeting the Disney princesses, and playing with her little brother. She loves to receive well-wishes through Caring Bridge at her Caringbridge.org website. She is our brave little princess.
At home she is supported by her younger brother, Henry (20-Month old), parents Phil, who is the music director at St. Peters Church in Saratoga and stay-at-home mom Maria.
Emma and her family need your support and prayers.
