In 2008, we again hooked up with local distance runner, and family friend Jackie Scotti to bring awarness about childhood cancer and help a local family in the midst of this horrible fight.

Team Teagan's 2nd Annual 5K Run/Walk

To benefit Mikayla Neahr, a beautiful 5 year old who was diagnosed with Leukemia in March 2008.

In order to care for her daughter, Michelle Neahr, had taken a leave from her job at State Farm Innsurance. Their days between treatments are short and only allowed Mikayla to attend her Kindergarden class at Galway Elemementary School 1-2 days per week, as the chemo treatments took their toll on her health and stamina. Her father, Jason, who works for Stewart's, had been forced to take up the slack and work much harder in order to continue supporting the family.

On Tuesdays, Mikayla looks forward to her night at "Barry's" (C and R's Resturant in Galway), where she has become a Tuesday Night Regular. Her Grandparents, Deb and Bill, do all they can to help Mikayla and their loved ones.

As all of you know, this was our battle in 2007, as WE fought for the life of our Daughter Teagan. She is now in full remission and doing GREAT, so we decided to keep the ball rolling and help another family.
